hi, I am having real trouble getting my daughter to eat a reasonable amount of food, without her throwing it on the floor or spitting it out.
I have tried what i feel like is everything to get her to eat. I am worried that she's going to get severely ill, and my HV said it's just a phase and that no healthy child will starve themselves.
has anyone else had/got this problem, and how did you solve it??
thanks

have you tried having a 'tea party' or a picnic on the floor with rug and a party of teddies etc.

little plates of food etc.

also get her to help- whisk the eggs for the omelette, mash the potatoes etc?

I will give the tea party a go, could be fun for both of us lol
I have tried involving her with cooking her own food, she loved doing that, just not the eating part

it won't happen straight away though so stick with it.

get her to feed you too so she sees you eating the food. i have two daughters and one of them is uber fussy... some kids jus are but it most often is a phase, especially at this age... they become all suspicious as if they're being poisoned.
