Anyone else had this? Apparently it can delay new adult tooth coming through. She's going to look like this for years!

this happened to me when I was 3. took years to grow back and now is slightly discoloured, dentist said nerve was dying(?) doesn't bother me in the slightest.

B'day chick, don't worry too much please. Which tooth is it? It won't damage the permanent tooth unless the baby tooth was bashed up into the gum in which case there is a small chance damage may have happened but really I wouldn't be too concerned. Message me if you have any Q's (I am a dentist btw but people sometimes get on to me and call me a liar if I post too much on open forum so in pm I am happy to tell you who I am and my GDC number etc).

Please don't worry yourself though.

Oh thank you. It was her front left and it seemed to come straight out. She seems fine today, not bothered at all. To be honest she now looks just like her 6 year old sister so I don't think she realises that it should be there. It's upsetting but not the end of the world.
