Teething?

Hi all
My DD is 16 weeks and she has been a bit grizzly today. last couple of nights she has woken up lots.
My worry is she has flushed cheeks and feels 'hot' but no temp.
Could this be teething? I cant feel anything in her gums and I know some children teethe for ages but are these symptons likely to go on until the first tooth comes?
There are so many nasty bugs going around I worry a lot.

Is she dribbling more? Chewing on her hand/bib/muslin? What is she like feeding, has she become fussy or just carrying on as normal?

My DD is teething and is doing all the above, having looked at websites they seem to be the common symptoms. She may well be teething, from what I can tell with my experience, symptoms come and go but there can be a huge gap from symptoms starting to the tooth cutting through.

I have found dentinox excellent, you could always try and put a bit on muslin and rub her gums with it. And remember there is always calpol if it gets too bad for a while.

Good luck.

hi sparkle
yes dribbling lots, chewing on everything! her feeding is more often lots of little feeds with a little bite at the end!
its only the 'hot' feeling she has which worries me, she does have a touch of a cold. she is constantly rubbing her face and splattering drool everywhere. she is quite fidgety too.
I only have bonjela thanks for the advice.
