Baby with cough

Hi

DD2 is 8 weeks and has a heavy cold and a cough. Other than that she's fine; no temp and quite chirpy if sleeping a bit more than usual (if an 8 week old has usual yet).

Should I take her to the GP for a cough because she's so little? Not sure about waiting and seeing because it's Friday.

Is she still taking plenty of milk and having lots of wet Nappies?

If not, or she shows any signs of struggling to breathe I would get her seen asap otherwise see how she goes. If your at all worried though it will do no harm to get her checked over

Thanks - she is. Think I will leave it as she really does seem fine otherwise.
