Hi there
I have a 7 month old and a 3 year old. 3 yo never got ill, even when nursery started and I can count on one hand how many times she has ever been poorly with common childhood ailments.
My 7mo is a different story, so far in her short life she has had cold 5 times, chicken pox and swine flu. I realise this is common is second and subsequent children. My question is, is there anything I can be doing to help her avoid/fight the bugs she keeps getting?
We are all exhausted, she has hardly slept a night through since she was born and I struggle to get enough of a 'good run' to get her into any type of routine.
I am due to return to work in 8 weeks and know I'll struggle if this continues. I can't understand it - I feel like I've done everything 'right.'
If no tips - how long is this likely to go on for?
