My baby is 5 months and has 3 teeth through. She is not weaned yet and is totally breastfed. When do I start cleaning her teeth and how do I know which dentist to register her with. My dentist is rubbish

I would start cleaning her teeth now. Re: dentists, it depends where you live - here, we are encouraged to register as soon as teeth appear but other places dont want to see them until the age of 2/3 years. I just registered my kids with the dentist I was registered with.

I registered my dd about 10 days after she was born only because I had an appointment and they said I could. My dentist said I should bring her every time I came so she could get used to being there. She is now 9 and has only recently been comfortable with the dentist looking in her mouth.
