17mo with spots.. too much dairy?

my 17mo dd has had a little outbreak of pimples on her cheeks the last few weeks. she has had them before although not this bad. there are about 3 or 4 on her face.
she is teething so i thought perhaps this was to blame?
although i've always been a bit concerned about how much dairy she eats (she is a fussy eater and what she loves most are cheese/cream cheese, yogurt, butter. she doesnt actually drink cows milk, she doesnt like it. but she has a tiny bit of cows milk on her cereal)

has anyone else's toddler have spots? and did you find their cause??

Yes, my DS started getting a few then they built up and they're really small, but a few days ago he had to go to the docs due to a really bad cold and a rash from a runny nose, the cream they gave me started to clear up from the first use, I tried it on the spots and it worked brilliant, I'm sure you can only get it on prescription, its called Unguentum :)
