Blood when wiping 2 year olds bottom...

Hello

Over the last week I have noticed a few spots of blood when wiping my daughter's bum after she has had a poo. Just wondered if this is normal (she does tend to do quite a large poo for such a small girl!) and anyone else has experienced it or if you think I should see a GP. Husband thinks its nothing to worry about but I'd love other opinions.

Thanks

I took my dd to gp over this (was more than just a few spots) - I think it must be very common as dss have also had since - GP said as long as it was fresh (ie bright red) then it's nothing to worry about if occasional. It's likely to just be from a big one!

Thanks loler. It is bright red and just a little smear of it on the tissue. She says it doesn't hurt at all.
