chicken pox

5 year old has chicken pox , first spot came out on Saturday then a cluster on back on Sunday nothing else since.

when is it that they can be sent back to school ? her form is fine but obviously i want to be certian i am not sending her if other kids or pregnant one can catch it.

any advice please ?

I've heard that they need to stay at home for either 5 days after the first spot comes out or until they have all crusted over. have no first hand experience as dd(11) has somehow never had the pox.

normally until they have crusted over which is around 5-7 days after the spots start to appear.
