5wo has cold and being sick

My 5wo has a very snuffly nose and the doctor has said it is just a cold. Is it normal for babies to be sick more when they have a cold. He has always been a 'sicky' baby butbis bringing up quite a bit of his feeds at the moment and I'm worried about him getting dehydrated...

He is fed on a combination of breast milk and formula and has been since he was a week old

I would feed little and often rather than giving a full feed.

Monitor his Nappies, make sure he is having lots of wet Nappies if not then take him to be checked as that is a sign of dehydration.

Ditto here - my 4 weekold is the exact same. She is very snuffly but its not a streaming cold, yet she is fullyblocked up every morning and I keep having to use the calpol nasal spray on her to clear it or she cant eat properly. She is producing enourmous greenys! I think because she is blocked up she is taking in a lot of air while eating. She is definately sicking up more feed, but its just posseting - not true vomiting. Mine is also mixed feeding.

My DD is a lot older than this but she has a cold too. I've been reading up on baby colds and I do seem to remember seeing somewhere that young children will vomit more when they are congested.

I got through to our HV today and she confirmed this is quite normal. I've never washed so many clothes in my life...mine and his!!
