DD being sick into throat/mouth and back down again? normal?

DD aged 4 keeps saying she is getting a little bit of sick come up into her throat, and she swallows it, she says it hurts/burns her throat.

She has mentioned this around twice a day for about 4 days now, is this a trip to the gp, or is anything specific causing it that i can manage at home?

She has said she keeps getting a dry/sore throat for a few days too, and a slight earache, but it doesn't ever come to anything. However I have also had this, so not sure if this is related to the sick/something else as I have not felt/been sick.

heartburn/indigestion?

PavlovtheCat · 17/01/2011 21:18

oh how silly of me, but i did not even consider that children could get heartburn or indigestion Grin. I only ever get it when pg, in fact, what she is describing is what I had when I had acid indigestion...can children develop reflux type symptoms at this age? or should she have outgrown this by now? she never had any problems at all as a baby with reflux.
