Dd1 poorly again after being back at school for 2 days, same virus?

Last weekend dd1 was really poorly with what seemed like swine flu symptoms, she was in bed for 3 days with aching joints and very high temp, on wed she went back to school as she seemed fine on tue (kept her of tue just in case), she was fine for 2 days then last night was really bunged up/snotty, she woke me at 12pm with a temp of 40, head ach and achy joints. She's now asleep, temp has come down after calpol and nurofen but she looks really poorly. Is this normall for swine flu? is it something else? Should i be calling the GP?

Half of her class are off school with sf symptoms. (she's 6.11).

Bump, i'm starting to worry as she is still asleep, her temp is down but she's hardly responding to me when i go into her.

She sounds the same as my dd. I started a thread last night.

Fwiw, the advice other posters gave me was to call NHS 24 which I did and they contacted my GP who have given me an appointment for today.

Hope she's feeling better soon.

Thanks, i phoned the gp who told me to take her in, by the time i got her clothes on and she got into the car she had perked up a little bit (typical), anyway GP said a virus or possible flu and to cary on with calpol. She's now in bed watching happy feet and managed to eat some toast, fingers crossed we are through the worst.

Hope your dd feels better soon xx
