I have 2 DSs - DS1 is almost 3 and DS 2 is 9 months.
For the last 3 weeks, DS1 has had really bad nappies - not solid at all but not like normal diarrhea - almost like a cottage cheese consistency - I know I'm sorry TMI!! He doesn't seem uncomfortable but is significantly speech delayed so I'm not 100% sure. He's running around like normal and seems fine. I thought it was because he'd had some yogurt with my parents as we;re in the process of investigating whether he's dairy intolerant they forgot, but it's been going on for a while now and but now I'm not so sure it's that.
DS2 has also developed very loose bowels in the last week. Again, it's not bothering him, although it's bothering me, a lot, and he's got nappy rash from it.
Does anyone have any idea what this is? DS1 has had it now for 3 weeks and DS2 for 1 week.
I'm not sure whether to take them to the GP because they like to peddle the 'it's a virus line'. But neither of the boys seems to be getting any better although in themselves are not ill IYSWIM.
If anyone knows what this could be, then I'd really appreciate it.
