DS "poo" very, very dark!

very graphic be warned..........

DS did have a stomach bug last week and diarrhea was almos black. Improved and he's been fine since.

However "poo" (now solid) is again very dark.

should I be concerned?

could it be something he has eaten ? DD's poo is black after blueberries !

that's what I thought but no nothing dark eaten.

he does eat pain au chocolate in mornings but he always has and never had such dark poo

oh christ have just googled - could be sign of many things.

Will see how it is over w-end and try and get a sample to get to dRs

Oreo biscuits is usually the culprit in our house.
Has he had any iron rich foods?
TBH I have seen every colour of poo in the past 8 years I don't get excited about it anymore.

I have even seen rainbow (really technicolour poo in ds1---he had been eating crayons Hmm )

Honestly if he seems fine in himself and there is nothing else to suggest worry don't.I have honestly like I said seen many coloured poo in my time and it changes from one day to the next.

DS has dark poo after eating dark chocolate.
