Infected eczema?

DS (16m) feels quite hot and has a chesty cough, he's using an inhaler from the hospital.

His eczema patches are really hot though, WTF does that mean?!

Any experience?

This used to happen to my ds3, I think it's where the skin is lacking an extra layer or two so you can feel the heat more. How long has he had the inhaler - could it be a reaction to that?

We only started using the inhaler today this time round (he's not asthmatic but the hospital gave us it because DS tends to get chesty)

Eczema been bad for a while, recently improved due to using aqueous cream but today DS is quite spaced out and feverish - not himself at all :(

salbutamol is a vasodilator and can make the skin red.
