Constantly snotty baby

Dd2 (3 months) has had a cold for about 5 weeks. She is constantly snotty. It's not really affecting her feeding but it's waking her up at night. I've tried olbas oil & have a humidifier but she is still really snuffly. Is there anything else I can do? How long might it last?

Have you tried raising her mattress? HV recommended that for me to try. Also calpol nasal spray before she goes to bed?

She's in a hammock so not quite that easy.

She needs to be raised up at the head end. If she's normally in a hammock, then maybe letting her sleep in a bouncy chair will help. Saline drops from the chemist are good for little stuffy noses. Damp towels on her bedroom radiator are good too. 5 weeks is quite a long time for a littlie to have a cold.

It's probably not the same cold, there are lots of germs going around. I've got saline drops. She definitely won't sleep in the bouncy chair, it's tough enough to get her to sleep! But I might try weighting the end of the hammock to prop the head end up. I have the humidifier on all night but she still wakes up snotty. I'm not really worried, just have the vain hope she might sleep longer if she is more comfy.
