My son is 7. Since he was 6, he started doing imulsive, unusual body movements. After some research i realise its Tics and it ran in my husbands family. I would be grateful of any advice please. I read to avoid products with caffine and high in salicylates. What foods are best? Many thanks.

I taught a child last year who had Tics. I was told by SEN team to totally ignore them and I was delighted that my class after a short time hardly noticed it anymore. He would shout out ramdom words, twitch etc. Really wasn't an issue really, but his case was mild I guess.

I really know no more but didn't want you to go unanswered.
