Chipped tooth in 12 month old

I've just noticed that one of my 12 m.o. DS's front teeth has a chip in one corner. I have no idea how long it's been there. Blush

He doesn't seem to be in any discomfort. The tooth is fully through.

Is it something I should get checked out by the dentist?

If its a small chip and he's not in pain, I'm not sure what a dentist would do. Maybe give them a ring when they are open again and ask?

no need to see a dentist. It's very common

Thanks; it's reassuring that it's common. I'll perhaps give the dentist a quick ring later in the week just to double check.
