My DS 20 mo has dried skin flaking on both his big toes for the past month. We did hope it would go away by itself but it doesn't seem to be. He has really only had it since the weather turned cold and it doesn't affect his walking.
Our theory is that the cold weather is chapping the skin on his toes a bit. Although our heating is on all the time now, we have wood floors (mostly covered with bits of carpet) and sometimes they are a bit cold.
It has been suggested to us that we should put vaseline on his toes to help. Plus we should buy some slippers for him to wear inside (currently he is just in socks).
Does anyone else have any advice/suggestions or seen this sort of thing before?
