Question about reflux / gaviscon / constipation

i'm so not being judgy by stealth i am genuinely interested in this and want to understand it more clearly.

does it seem to anyone else that lots of babies are being given gaviscon, leading to constipation to treat 'reflux'* which actually just appears to be sickyness?

  • discliamer, i know reflux is a genuine condition that causes discomfort and distress, but i know three babies well, and they aren't ill, distressed or in discomfort, they're just a bit sicky (as said by their own parents)but now they are constipated, which does cause them discomfort and unhappiness.
