I'm trying to use the cotton wool with Vaseline, but her ears are still getting wet - any tips? I must be doing something wrong.

Try these. We had many years' worth of keeping ears dry due to grommets and other surgery.

Very easy to use.

If they are just getting a little damp, I don't think it would matter. Chack with gp because maybe you are worrying unnecessarily.
