Amoxicilin and diarrohea

DS2 9 months old started on amoxicilin yesterday lunchtime for a chest infection.

Since then he's had really runny nappies (3 explosive ones in the last two hours) and a gurgling tummy.

I see it can be a side effect of taking it, but has anyone had any similar experiences?

It is a very common side affect. To the point when i was issued with a course recently the doc made it clear that it was likely that it might occur.

You have my sympathies though. I remember the days of explosive nappies.
