Non-stop grizzling from 10mth old - problem?

My 10mo DD is normally a good, happy little girl but today just won't stop grizzling. I can distract her a bit with play but not for long. She's also not eating much. She has had a cold (or series of colds) over the last fortnight. Could it be teething? She doesn't have a tooth yet and I can't see any bumps. Should I worry and take her to A&E to have her checked out?

I would guess teething or just feeling yukky because of cold - my DD is the same age, has a cold and is teething and hasn't eaten much at all for a few days. I am just offering her plenty of milk.

Unless she is in obvious severe pain (which from you description of grizzling I would say she's clearly not), you would be wasting NHS time by taking her to A&E - sorry but it is clearly neither an accident nor an emergency! Grin

See if Calpol helps her, she might also need more sleep than usual.
