Chicken Pox

How annoying! I thought I had posted a thread here.

DD - 10mo has a bad cold and cough (not chesty, just annoying). On Saturday she was with a child who has since been found to have chicken pox (monday morning I think).

How long may it take for her to get it? Should I be worried? Should I be preparing myself for changing our Christmas holiday plans (we are due to fly home on to see my family on 17/12, it will be very difficult to change flights at this stage). I am just worried about putting an infectious child on an airplane (obviously with me?)

She has no signs of it yet, no fever or spots.

the incubation period is 10-21 days so you have a while before you find out for sure whether she has caught it or not.

Thanks - the how annoying referred to my previous post which I lost, not to poor DD.
