DS (6) with constant dry cough

Am starting to get a little bit concerned about my DS who has had a constant dry cough for a few weeks now. It is starting to affect his speech as he coughs throughout his sentences. He had a mild cold about a month ago but nothing to worry about.

Anyone got any suggestions or should I just take him to GP??

When DS1 got pneumonia last year, he had no symptoms, just a constant, dry cough, so do take him to gp.
