rather embarassing to admit, but my 2 dds have caught threadworm Blush
i first saw them on tuesday in dd1 poo,dh went and bought us dome ovex and me,dh,ds and dd1 had a dose, dd2 is only 2 and hates medicine...i went a bit mad yesterday cleanin and hoovering matresses, washing bedding on 60 degrees etc, i have been very paranoid that i have them aswell Shock
havent seen anything in in dd1 sinc the ovex fingers crossed, just changed dd2 nappy and she has them i managed to force a dose of ovex down her before... im really worried that this is going to be a reoccuring thing Sad

Threadworms are very common, don't be embarrassed. Smile Tons of us have had them.

If you've all had ovex, they should go. Check the leaflet that comes with it about how soon it's OK to re-treat if they don't go straight away.

No reason for it to be a re-occurring thing.

Just re-read your OP - did DD2 not have the ovex then? If she's got threadworms, you need to try and get it down her somehow. All the advice says to treat the whole family at the same time.
(Disclaimer - I don't know if it's OK for a 2 year old).

we eventually got ovex into dd2 today after forcing her to swallow it Blush
