Can I send my son to nursery if he has nappy thrush? If not, how long must I wait before he can go back (and I can return to work)? He has been prescribed drops and ointment. He is happy and healthy otherwise. All advice appreciated.

DD went to nursery last week when she had nappy thrush. We just gave the cream to her key worker and asked them to use it with every nappy change. THere was no suggestion that she should be at home.

Thank you. That's reassuring. Some people have been telling me that it's highly contagious so I can't take him. Maybe that's only for oral thrush.

Cheers :)
