Hi

LO due MMR booster soon. Any advice on how to handle it with her - prepare her or let her go in ignorant?

Injections were fine when she was a baby but think she's a bit too aware now!

Intend to bribe and cajole but was hoping there might be a magic answer! She tends not to co-operate at the doctors so need advice.
Thanks

i told my dd (3) as we were walking to the doctors that she was going to have an injection. i didnt want to tell her too far in advance because i didnt want her to get worried about it but i also didnt want to get in there without warning her what was going to happen. i told her it was medecine being put into her arm. i was really anxious and thought she would cry loads but she didnt cry at all.she was sat on my knee facing sideways.she was so good.i hope it goes well for you and your dd.
