My dd (8 mnths) has reflux due to a lactose intolerance. We have been prescribed neocate which totally changed our lives and our screaming dd turned into calm settled little girl who loved her sleep. Problem is, pediatrician advised that if she got ill the reflux would return.
She has now had a cold for 9 weeks. This has developed into an ear infection and to top it off she is also teething. The reflux has returned with a vengeance. Dd seems to really be suffering from excessive wind which also seems to be keeping her awake. Does anyone know if amoxicillin can cause such excessive wind? We did have wind problems before with reflux but I thought that was due to her not being able to digest lactose.
Anyone else had any issues?
