My 6 month old DS had a blood blister on his toe - goodness knows how he got it, but today it has popped. Looks very red and sore - is it safe to put a plaster on it?

I would put a lint free dry dressing on in, but not a plaster as it needs to breathe.

I can't see why not. OTOH, DD had a very traumatic experience having a vax. The nurse put a plaster on and it took me nearly three weeks to get the bloody thing off. I had to do it while she was asleep.

If your DS has sensitive skin or eczema, I wouldn't unless you have to tbh. DS2 had a nasty skin reaction to a plaster after a vaccination. The nurse used some cotton wool held in place with surgical tape for his subsequent vaccinations and he was fine.
