penicillin and vomting

last week dd had tonsillitis and we are on day 5/7 of penicillin.

Today she has vomited since noon. She seeminly cannot keep anything down. Should I still give her penicillin? is there any point?

Thankfully she takes it no fuss so she won't get herself in a state about it like I used to when I was a kid

difficult one. I think you should consult your GP. Penicillin kills unfortunately also the good bacterias which are helping to protect our immune system. She might suffers from a virus now. Make sure she drinks enough (best would be something like i.e. baby stomach ease tea)and take her as soon as you can to the doctor.

thank you Zara. I have spoken to the doctor, who said i have two choices - either finish the penicillin or don't! Not very helpful Confused

i am not overly worried about dd and her vomiting, she has always been a sick child so i know what symptoms to look out for and when to take her to the doctors! thank you :)
