Help! Tired 5 month old refusing any food or drink

My 5 mth DS has a cold and seems to be teething too. Until this evening I've been able to get about 4oz of milk and some solids into him but tonight hes hysterical and tired but refusing anything, including syringe with Calpol, into his mouth. He has had some milk earlier in his sleep. What can I do?

Not much Im afraid, if he doesn't want anything he is probably feeling rough and just needs to sleep! Keep offering when he wakes and try not to worry. If it continues get a gp to check him over tomos, hope he picks up soon.

Thanks. He's gone off now. I'll keep trying dream feeds and take him tomorrow but I don't know what they can do. I'm sure its teeth. I suppose it could be his throat though as he has a cold.
