hi, i haven't experienced this with my own but have had a childminded child with this aged 2y and my mother is an infertility specialist. the younger this is sorted the better. in my mothers experience she has said the patients she deals with with this problem have had ascending testes for many years and in some cases into adulthood. having this as a toddler is quite common which is worrying as this is ment to be checked at birth, 24hour check and 6 week check. my friends son has had this problem and they left it another year and both testes had dropped. its much better it is sorted soon and i wish you luck.

hi hayley thanks for your reply you said your mum is a infertility specialist so will my little one be ok in havin children (if he wants that is) in the future he was checkd at birth and was ok they went back up prob after he was one or so i think. i didnt pay that much attention at first thought it was ok but just seemed that he hadn't grown down below much over the last year i have a older boy whoese 5 and i just compared the two then realised all didnt seem right with the younger one and feel guilty that didn't notice sooner just hope he be ok thanks again
