Regurgitation

Hi, my 6 month old has regurgitated whole bottles of milk from time to time, but over the last few days he seems to be doing it everyday, often after his morning or night feeds. I've been putting him on solids for a couple of weeks now, and he is recovering from a cold-I think the coughing made it worse-wondering if these factors have anything to do with the increase in throwing up?

Is projectile vomit normal? Is there anything I can do about it (apart from redirect the little one away from me-if I have the time...) The carpets are covered in large white patches and I'm constantly covered in baby puke-oh the joys of parenthood! Apart from that, he's drinking and eating fine, and is fine immediately after he's thrown up.

Any ideas?

It sounds like reflux, best off popping to the GP. It helps if you wind him after 1/3 of the bottle, then don't let him lie flat for a little while.
