Attention seeking or something wrong???

DD1, who'll be 3 at end of Jan, has been complaining of stomach ache the past few days, but also seems to be constantly hungry and asking for food. The stomach ache seemed to tie in with the start of a bit of a cold, the symptoms of which have already mostly disappeared. Her behaviour this past week has also been atrocious. She's being rude, cocky, sarcastic, and basically majorly pushing all boundaries to the extreme. I was of the opinion to start with that, combined with the bad behaviour, the "stomach ache" was just an attention thing. Since the constant requests for food have started i'm not so sure anymore. It occurred to me today that she may have worms (we have 3 dogs who were wormed last week.......) and have just googled the symptoms. From what I can tell it is mainly itchy bottoms etc at nighttime, which she doesnt seem to be suffering from (she has had an issue for the last 6 mths or near on of playing with herself, but is adamant it isnt itchy or sore, and having had her examined by a dr have put it down to her age and the fact she's realised it feels nice :-/ ).

Basically, i was wondering if anyone has had similar problems before I go ahead and make a Drs appointment for something that may well be just a behavioural thing!

Thanks all in advance :)
