Mild chicken pox?

Hi all, dd (who is 34 months) came out in about 15 spots last Friday (22nd Oct), which seemed quite obvious to me to be chicken pox. She has had no fever or lethargy (touch wood), and has been absolutely fine. She itched on the first day and that was it. I was expecting a full dusting of spots the next day but this has not happened. The spots have dried up and are fading. However, in the last 2 days, 3 more brand new ones have popped up. My question is - can chicken pox appear like this or has anyone else been in this situation? DD has also had a few spots appear before that I thought were chicken pox, so it would appear she has had it mildly - twice. I have heard conflicting things - that you definitely cannot get it more than once, and that you can have it mildly a few times! Sorry for essay, and thanks for any advice. x
