Does anyone have any information on Para-Umbilical Hernias? ie, do they hurt? how are they treated? If they require surgery what age is it done at? My 4 week old daughter has one but I have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment at the hospital, I'm very worried that my baby may be in pain from it! The doctor yesterday said that they can strangulate the bowel, I am wondering whether this is the case with my baby as she is constipated a lot.
