Ringworm

DS aged 4 has just shown me red patch on groin area and said it hurts. I think it ringworm. how do I treat it?

cream from chemist or Gp. Tea tree oil is good for it too but not sure if you can use on child, sure someone else will know.

thats true dora, but can be sore/itchy, perhaps he can't describe it. I had massive patch when pregnant with DS, was bloody sore and they were reluctant to treat due to pregnancy.

My dd1 is just recovering from it. Go to the gp for official diagnosis, then you will get a prescription antifungal cream, which you apply with a generous margin around the ring. Have to say dd1's didn't hurt, but did itch.
