just been to our local chemists to buy some tixylix for ds2 whos 3.10 ,and they said they could not sell it it me if under 6 is this true !!

Yeah, I think so. Haven't they decided that cough medicines for under 6s actually do nothing and can make things worse? Sorry, I have no helpful links, but I'm sure I've heard this recently... Will google.
