Has anyone's DC (or them) had the swine flu and flu jab in one? Ayside effects?

DD had hers today (she always has had the flu jab due to a medical condition) and it was both jabs in one. She then wouldn't eat tea and was a bit grumpy and am worried she will get ill, especially as it was the first year she has had the full adult dose of it. She is four. She was ok with the swine flu one ast year though and I can't remember her ever being really bad with the normal flu one either so fingers crossed.

As I don't have anything more relevant to add, I got on just fine with my combined vaccination last week.

Red patch on arm lasted about 24hrs but that was all I noticed.

Glad to hear you were ok. Ijust looked it up and actually they change it every year to cope with the different strains of flu (I knew this but had sort of forgotten) so I suppose it should be ok hopefully.

DD had a lump on her arm but it didnt look red. Thanks for replying always start worrying about these things but there isnt much choice about giving it I feel.

Yeah, this yr it was an American H1N1 and 2 Australian strains.

But I've always been fine with it so I'm not a very good canary for this.

Hope she remains OK.

dd had hers, slight red patch the day after and she looked a bit pale, but other than that fine.

Thats good to hear. DD's arm is a bit red now but she seems ok, bit grumpy but she is tired so probably unrelated.
