Can anyone recommend a reliable in-ear thermometer please?

Binned the neurofen one I had when DD was little as it gave ridiculously inconsistent readings.

Does anyone have a good thermometer they would recommend. Would prefer not to spend ££ but willing to invest if necessary for the peace of mind.

TIA Smile

Braun thermoscan, lots of GPs and paeds use it.

Thanks again. Will definitely go for this I think.

Does anyone have any ideas as to the differences between the two thermoscan models (4520 vs 4020). Very similar prices and Braun website not much help!

Braun Thermoscan here too - and our GP surgery use the same ones. We have the 4520. Looking at the info about them on Amazon, I think the 4520 stores the last 8 readings, where the 4020 only stores the last 1. To be honest, I would go for the 4520 on Amazon, as it has the higher model number (so probably is the higher spec) and is cheaper!
