Second molars as first teeth? Possible?

My nine month old dd still has no teeth. I happened to look in her mouth today and she has a large whiteish lump on her bottom gum on the left-hand side, riiight at the back where the second molar would be. She is chewing on this spot quite a lot but appears in no discomfort.

Is it possible that she is getting her second molars first? Apparently they make an appearence between two and three years normally.

Anyone heard of this before or should I be worried in case there is something wrong with her mouth and it's not a tooth afterall?
