My DD (will be 2 in Nov) had her adenoids removed and grommets put in last Friday. Apart from the totally understandable stress for her immediately after the op, it is now Tuesday, and every time we put her to bed, she screams and screams. on Sunday night she woke up at 1.45am and refused to go back to bed, despite trying everything - calpol etc etc. Last night she slept all the way through, but when I came to put her to bed this morning she screamed for an hour - is now sleeping, thank goodness, but not sure I can cope with this happening every time we put her to bed. She used to be such a fantastic sleeper, so it must have something to do with the op. Has anyone else had this experience - in fact it is safe to say that she has become one angry little girl since Friday. DO you think she doesn't trust us and thinks we are going to slice open her ears every time we put her to bed? Help please!
