Dd1 is 12.5yrs and has been up every night for the last week with really bad tummy ache. She says she doesn't feel sick at all so i was wondering if it could be her periods starting as it hasn't happened as yet??

I think it probably could. A friend was saying her DD had stomach pains for 6 months until her periods actually started. It's something I'm on the look out for with my DD whi is coming up for 12.

Aww poor thing - does a hot water bottle help? Do not hold back on dishing out paracetamol, first periods really hurt.
