Wind in toddlers

Does anyone have any suggestions on food to avoid with windy toddlers - i've been advised to avoid high protein foods including peas. I know fruit and veg can cause wind but daughter has constipation so its a tricky balance!

How bad is the wind? I mean that the constipation is surely going to cause more trouble so unless the wind is truly apalling I would feed her fruit and veg as normal.
