My DS1 came back from a trip to his grandparents with DH with a red bottom and little boy bits. I put it down to DH not being too good at cleaning him properly.

Redness has more or less gone from his boy bits, but noticed on Sunday that he now has what looks like spots on his bottom. Does not seem to be clearing up. Does anyone think this might be thrush?? If so what should I do??

My DM has no suggestion, apart from putting on loads of sudocream. I have repeatedly told her to rub in a small amount!!!

I'm off to Cornwall on Friday, so if need to see GP, need to get a move on & get it sorted.

Any suggestions much appreciated, thanks.

Canesten cream will clear it in no time, just a thin layer worked on DS1 when he was about 8m and reacted to eating red grapes - the pharmacist recommended it and was bang on. HTH

Thanks - I think I will try it. I change his nappy frequently, and dry him afterwards.

Will go get some cream. Fingers crossed
