dd had a fever the last four day. quite high (over 40) at times.
now she*s much better, no fever, but has a rash on her torso starting from the nappy rea. just many tiny dots, skin not broken.
"unsspecified viral disease"? something else. gp said no need to see her as feveris gone...

hmpf, was dur back to work tomorrow, but due to the fever have missed some settling in sessions at nursery...

It sounds like Baby Measles. (roseola)
It's the only disease that brings out the rash after the fever has gone.
You actually don't need to worry at all. The worst has passed with the fever and the rash will go down untreated in a day or two.
She is no long infectious.
It's a very common disease in young children and will cause her no long term damage.
