hi all

My 7 month old dd, seems to have developed little pimply spots/rash on both her cheeks and around the mouth area. Are there any suggesions as to how to treat it or general advice so it does not spread???

I read a post were one mum used nappy rash cream on her baby's face and that helped....

DD1 had something like that drool + wind and cold would do that to her. Also wiping with baby wipes or not wiping properly after a meal. Try wet muslins instead and pat dry.
I thing you can use a moisturiser, be careful with the face, I wouldn't use bum cream as it will end up in the mouth.

I was advise Vaseline by a pharmacist in the UK (as not toxic, it doesn't matter if it goes in the mouth) but would ask yours or see your GP.

My DD started with little spots on her face around her mouth a few days ago. Today she got spots on her hands and feet. Turns out she has foot and mouth disease Sad

sorry to here about your little one. Hopefully she gets better soon.

My dd at 7weeks old!!!! ended up getting really bad chicken pox but got better (but that did take a whole month). It was a really difficult time for me. So basically now im a bit paranoid everytime i see a spot or something that shouldnt be there.
