DD2 is 16 weeks now and after many weeks of feeding problems, has been prescribed Soya formula (she is FF). She had diarrhoea all her life until this week. She has had 1 little poo, but that's it and now she appears constipated. She is screaming and crying and generally miserable. The formula has helped with her other symptoms and we are awaiting a referral to the paediatrician. In the meantime, what can I do to help her? She has never had a proper 'solid' poo apart from the one little one just recently.

She's so miserable, I'm not sure what to do. TIA

My DS was having problems with not pooing. We were very concerned as he is BF and BF babies aren't supposed to get constipated. He would go for up to a week without one. We had it sorted by a chiropractor.(he sees one regularly anyway) I actually went to see the Dr who gave us laxatives but on the way to get the prescription I went by our chiropractors & just popped in to say hi. They did an adjustment at the bottom of his back & just hours later it was like his bottom had exploded. The laxatives have never been used.

I know some people don't agree with alternative methods but I swear by my chiropractor & anything is worth a shot.

Good luck.
