chicken pox at 8 months;symptoms?

hi my baby has had all the symptoms; fever,earache,grumpiness, cold hands and feet and now a rash; intermittent small spots on her tummy/back/neck. they havent yet developed into pussy spots , ( been there for neraly 48 hours) is this it? as bad as it gets? will she catch again when older? ( we were exposed to a mum two weeks ago who's kids had just got over it, she could have been a carrier).........

my dd caught it at 8mo too, we wouldnt have really noticed if it hadnt been that it was flyiong around the nursery and DD1 had come down with it very badly exactly 2 weeks before.sounds like that is what your DD has. possiblilty she'll catch it again, but not necessarily.
